Cover C: fits the Large Big Green Egg with the intEGGrated Nest. The taller Large cover (reaches the ground).

Cover E: fits the Medium Big Green Egg with intEGGrated Nest or Carrier.

Cover H: fits the MiniMax Big Green Egg.

Both fit the Large Big Green Egg dome. The difference is in how the cover reaches the ground, which depends entirely on what your Egg is sitting in.

Cover B is the shorter Large cover. It is designed for an Egg sitting in a Mate (the smaller table-style stand) or an Acacia Table. The cover only needs to reach the table top, not the floor.

Cover C is the taller Large cover. It is designed for an Egg sitting in the intEGGrated Nest, which is the wheeled cart base that raises the Egg off the floor. Cover C reaches down to floor level, sealing off the Nest and any side shelves.

How to tell which you have: if your Egg is on wheels and sitting in a metal cart frame, you need Cover C. If your Egg is sitting in a wooden table or compact stand, you need Cover B.

Wrong cover means either flapping around at the base (Cover B on a Nest) or excess fabric pooling on the table top (Cover C on a Mate). It does work, just not as designed.

Yes, if your BBQ sits on a timber deck, tiled patio, concrete pavers, or any finished outdoor surface you want to keep clean.

What a mat protects against:

Grease and oil drips. Even with a drip tray, splatter from open cooks (steaks, sausages, anything direct-grilled) leaks past the cooker footprint. Once it soaks into timber or grout, it does not come out.

What helps a cover last:

Wait for the cooker to cool before covering. Putting a cover on a hot dome (especially a kamado that holds heat for 6+ hours) bakes the fabric from the inside and shortens its life dramatically.

Shake out water and debris weekly. Leaves and twigs collect in the folds during rain and accelerate fabric wear. Dust the cover off when you cook.

Spot-clean rather than full wash. Most covers have UV coatings that wash off in a full machine cycle. Wipe down spots with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Universal covers in contrast typically last 12 to 24 months in Sydney before the seams fail or the fabric cracks. The price difference between fitted and universal works out to roughly the same per-year cost, except the fitted cover actually protects your cooker properly throughout that period.
