The Green Mountain Grills Ledge Prime 2.0 Custom Cover is the genuine GMG-branded cover, cut and sewn specifically to the Ledge's footprint so it sits snug across the cooking chamber, the controller pod, the hopper, the side shelf and the full cart. No flapping, no gaps, no rain pooling in the wrong places.
It is also broadly backwards compatible. The same cover fits older Ledge Prime and Ledge Prime Plus units from previous generations, and it fits the Daniel Boone Prime+. If you have one of those grills and you need a replacement cover, or you never had one, this is the right buy.

Why a Custom Cover Matters
Protection That Pays for Itself
A premium pellet grill lives outside. The cooking chamber, the controller, the hopper and the powder-coated cart all wear faster when they sit exposed to sun, rain and dust between cooks. A purpose-cut cover is the simplest thing you can do to keep the Ledge looking premium and performing like new for years.
Custom-Cut Fit
Pattern-cut to the Ledge's full silhouette including the controller pod, the side shelf and the cart. No flapping in the wind, no excess fabric pooling water.
UV and Sun Protection
Stops sun fade and prevents UV degradation of the controller plastics and powder-coat finish. Important in Australia, where summer sun is brutal.
Rain and Moisture Shield
Keeps the cooking chamber dry between cooks. Pellets are hygroscopic and absorb moisture from the air, so a covered grill means drier pellets in the hopper too.
Full Cart Coverage

Does this cover fit my older Ledge or my Daniel Boone Prime+?
Yes to both. Green Mountain Grills designed this cover to fit the current Ledge Prime 2.0, the older Ledge Prime and Ledge Prime Plus, and the Daniel Boone Prime+. If you are not sure which model you have, send us a photo through our contact form and we will confirm fit before you order.
Will a generic cover do the same job?
A generic cover protects against the worst, but it never fits properly. Excess fabric flaps in the wind, pools water in the wrong places and lets dust in around the cart legs and the hopper. The GMG custom cover is pattern-cut to the Ledge's full silhouette including the controller pod, the side shelf and the cart, so it sits tight and does the job long-term.
Do I really need a cover if the grill lives under a verandah?
Even under cover, a pellet grill collects dust, leaf litter, insects and humidity. The cover keeps the cooking chamber clean between cooks and stops pellets in the hopper drawing moisture from the air. Pellets that have absorbed moisture do not feed cleanly and can throw off temperature control. The cover pays for itself in cleaner cooks and longer hopper life.
Can I leave it on during a cook?
No. Never run the grill with the cover on. Always remove the cover fully before lighting the grill and put it back on once the unit has cooled completely after the cook.
