RACKT Modular System
How the RACKT System Works
RACKT is GMG's modular cooking system for the Ledge Prime 2.0 and Peak Prime 2.0 only. The Backboard mounts inside the chamber first and acts as the rail every module clips into. Once installed, modules swap tool-free between cooks. The Backboard below is for the Ledge Prime 2.0. The Peak uses a separate Backboard SKU - call us to source it. Trek Prime 2.0 does not support RACKT.
RACKT Backboard Ledge
The foundation of the RACKT system. Mounts inside the Ledge Prime 2.0 chamber. Required before any other RACKT module can be used.

RACKT Warming Rack Module
Adds a second cooking level above the main grate. Run two-zone cooks, hold finished food hot, or warm buns while the next round finishes below.

What is the RACKT system and do I need the Backboard first?
RACKT is GMG's modular cooking system for the Ledge Prime 2.0 and Peak Prime 2.0 only. The Backboard mounts inside the grill chamber and acts as the rail that every other RACKT module clips into. Yes, the Backboard is required before any other RACKT module can be used. Without it, no other RACKT module has anything to attach to. The Backboard on this page fits the Ledge Prime 2.0. The Peak Prime 2.0 uses a separate Backboard SKU — call us to source it. Trek Prime 2.0 does not support RACKT.
Does the RACKT system work on the Trek Prime 2.0?
No. The Trek Prime 2.0 does not have RACKT compatibility. RACKT is designed for the Ledge Prime 2.0 and Peak Prime 2.0 chambers only. The Trek is too small to accommodate the RACKT rail system.
Which GMG models does the Rotisserie Kit fit?
There are two separate rotisserie kits. The standard Rotisserie Kit fits the Jim Bowie, Prime Plus, and Peak. The Rotisserie Kit Ledge fits the Ledge Prime 2.0, older Ledge Prime and Ledge Prime Plus, and the Daniel Boone Prime+. They are not interchangeable. Call us before ordering if you are unsure which kit suits your grill and we will confirm the right one.
Does the Wood-Fired Pizza Attachment work in any pellet grill?
The GMG Wood-Fired Pizza Attachment is designed for GMG pellet grills only. It is compatible with all Ledge models, Daniel Boone models, Peak, and Jim Bowie. It does not fit the Trek. It is not compatible with pellet grills from other brands such as Yoder, Traeger, or Green Mountain Grills models that do not share the chamber dimensions listed above.
Which cover fits my GMG grill?
The Ledge and DB Prime cover fits the Ledge Prime 2.0, older Ledge Prime, Ledge Prime Plus, and Daniel Boone Prime+. The Trek Prime 2.0 cover fits the Trek Prime 2.0 and older Trek models. Covers are model-specific and will not fit correctly on the wrong grill. If you are unsure which generation you have, send us a photo through the contact form and we will confirm fit before you order.
Is the BBQ Floor Mat compatible with all grills?
Yes, the BBQ Floor Mat works under any grill or pellet smoker, not just GMG. The mat is heat-resistant and grease-resistant, designed to sit under the cooker and catch drips, ash, and spills before they reach your deck timbers, tiles, or pavers. The standard size suits most freestanding cookers including kamados, offsets, and pellet grills. Useful for rental properties where preventing surface damage matters.
Why use a pizza peel instead of tongs or a metal spatula?
A pizza peel is a long flat paddle designed to slide under and out of pizza without disturbing toppings or burning your hands. Tongs damage the pizza edge and can puncture the base. Metal spatulas are too short for the depth of a pellet grill, which forces you to reach inside the hot cooking chamber. The GMG Pizza Peel is sized for the smaller Trek and Davy Crockett models so it does not bump the chamber walls when sliding pizzas in and out.
Can I use generic or aftermarket parts on my GMG?
Technically yes, but we strongly recommend against it on attachments that interact with the cooking chamber or heat source (rotisseries, pizza attachments, RACKT modules). GMG-designed accessories are built to the cooker's exact dimensions and heat profile. Generic alternatives often fail at the seal (heat loss), the mount (instability), or the heat tolerance (warping). Generic parts also void GMG warranty coverage for anything they touch. For non-cooking accessories like a floor mat, generic alternatives are fine.
Do accessories come with warranty?
Yes, all genuine GMG accessories purchased from BBQ Republic are covered by GMG's manufacturer warranty. Coverage varies by item. Warranty claims are handled locally through BBQ Republic, not sent back to the US. Keep your purchase receipt or order confirmation as proof. Call us if you need to lodge a warranty claim and we will walk you through the process.
