What It Is Built From
Durable water-resistant outer
The outer fabric is constructed to withstand year-round outdoor exposure without degrading or losing its protective qualities over time. Built for sustained use in Australian conditions including UV, rain, and coastal salt air.
Tear-resistant PVC interior liner
The interior is lined with tear-resistant PVC to prevent damage from repeated on/off use, particularly around the hopper and control panel sections where the 1150's profile is uneven. Without a liner, friction from these edges tears the fabric from the inside over time.
Double-stitched seams
All seams are double-stitched to prevent water penetrating through stitch points during heavy or sustained rainfall. Single-stitched seams are the most common failure point on cheaper covers.
Locking buckle closure
A locking buckle at the base keeps the cover firmly in place rather than lifting in wind. More secure than a drawstring for a cover of this size and weight, and appropriate for the larger footprint of the 1150.
Year-Round Protection
UV exposure degrades painted surfaces. Moisture works into joins and electronics. Windblown debris and coastal salt air do slow, cumulative damage that is not obvious until it is. This cover addresses all of it.
Rain and sustained moisture
Water-resistant outer and double-stitched seams keep rain out of the enclosed cart, electronics, and cooking chamber.
Sun and UV exposure
Durable outer fabric resists UV degradation and protects painted surfaces underneath from fading and oxidation.
Wind and airborne debris
The locking buckle closure keeps the cover secure and prevents windblown material getting inside the unit.
Coastal salt air and frost
Protects metal components, the digital control panel, and electronics from salt air corrosion and overnight frost during colder months.
What This Cover Fits
This cover is sized for large-format Masterbuilt Gravity Series units. It is not a universal fit cover and will be oversized on smaller models.

Which Cover Do I Need?
Getting the right cover matters. An undersized cover will not reach the base of the hopper. An oversized one will not stay put in wind.

Keeping the Cover in Good Condition
- Always allow the grill to cool completely before fitting the cover. The 1150 retains heat well due to its dual-wall insulation — allow adequate time after a cook before covering.
- Never place the cover over a warm or hot surface. This damages the cover material and creates a fire hazard.
- Wipe down with a damp cloth for routine cleaning.
- For a more thorough clean, remove the cover, hose it down, and allow it to air dry completely before refitting.
- Do not machine wash or use harsh detergents on the cover material.
- Store the cover on the grill rather than folded away when not in use for longest life.

Most Masterbuilt accessories are compatible with both the Gravity Series 600 and 1150, including the Pizza Oven and Rotisserie Kit. The BBQ cover is model specific. The small cover fits the 600 and the large cover fits the 1150. Each product listing states compatibility. If you are unsure, call us before ordering and we will confirm what fits your model.
Are these genuine Masterbuilt accessories?

Yes. The Masterbuilt Pizza Oven insert is available from BBQ Republic and is compatible with both the Gravity Series 600 and 1150. Do you stock the Masterbuilt Rotisserie Kit?
Yes. The Gravity Series Rotisserie Kit is available and compatible with both the 600 and 1150. It lets you spit-roast whole chickens, lamb legs, pork roasts, and rolled joints directly over the charcoal fire.
Do accessories come with a warranty?
Genuine Masterbuilt accessories purchased through BBQ Republic are covered by Masterbuilt's standard manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms vary by accessory type. All warranty claims are handled directly through us.
Do you deliver accessories across Sydney?
Yes. Accessories are delivered across Sydney. For larger accessories such as the Pizza Oven or Rotisserie, delivery is free. Smaller items may ship via standard courier. Contact us if you need clarification on delivery for a specific item before ordering.
Can I see the accessories in person before buying?
Yes. Our Wetherill Park showroom stocks Masterbuilt accessories and you can see the Gravity Series range on display. We cook on charcoal and can show you how the accessories work before you buy. Open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm.
