The Trek Prime 2.0 is the portable end of Green Mountain Grills' new Prime 2.0 range. It shares the reshaped rounded and peaked chamber for true 360° heat and smoke circulation, the GMG Prime 2.0 app, and the same temperature precision as the larger Ledge, in a footprint built to go with you.
What sets the Trek apart is power flexibility. Plug it into 110-240V mains at home, or run it from a 12V DC source in the bush. Camping, tailgating, fishing trips, 4WD weekends: anywhere you can park a battery, you can cook real wood-fired food. A new Venturi-style firebox creates a cyclone of airflow for maximum combustion efficiency, and a PT100 platinum sensor reads temperature ten times per second so the cook stays steady from low-and-slow brisket to a hot reverse sear.

The Trek is small, but every part of it is tuned for serious pellet cooking. Same Prime 2.0 platform as the larger Ledge, just packed into a portable footprint.
AC + 12V DC Dual Power
110-240V at home, or 12V DC from a battery or 4WD socket on the road. Total power draw 2-145W, so even a modest portable battery runs a full cook.
360° Hybrid Chamber Design
The reshaped rounded and peaked chamber circulates heat and smoke around the food in true 360°, so a portable grill still cooks like the big ones.

The GMG Prime 2.0 App
The Trek Prime 2.0 connects to the GMG Prime 2.0 app over your home WiFi, and over GMG Server Mode when you are out and about. From the app, set the grill temperature anywhere from 65°C to 288°C, watch live grill and meat probe readings, run programmable cooking profiles, set probe alarms for the moment your brisket hits the stall, and switch the grill on or off remotely.
A built-in USB-A charging port keeps your phone topped up while you cook. Note: the port is not compatible with USB-C devices.

The First Accessory to Add
The Trek is portable on its own, but the way you carry it changes everything. If you plan to take the Trek to campgrounds, tailgates or beach days, the single most useful addition is the Trek Cart.
The Trek Cart turns the unit into a fully mobile grilling station with locking caster wheels and collapsible shelves. Load and unload in seconds, roll it across grass and gravel, and use the shelves for prep, pellets and tools. Pair this with the 12V power capability and the Trek goes from "portable" to "ready for anywhere".

Should I buy the Trek Prime 2.0 or step up to the Ledge?
The Trek is the portable model. Buy it if you want to take a real pellet grill camping, tailgating, fishing or to the beach, or if you have a smaller outdoor space at home. Buy the Ledge if you want a stationary backyard pellet grill with a larger cooking area, dual meat probes, and the full accessory ecosystem (SideBURN infrared searing, pizza oven, rotisserie). Both share the same Prime 2.0 chamber design, the same app, and the same 3-year warranty.
Can I really run the Trek from a battery?
Yes. The Trek Prime 2.0 supports AC plus DC dual power, drawing 110-240V on mains or 12V DC from a battery or vehicle socket. Total power draw is 2-145W, so a modest portable lithium battery comfortably runs a full cook. Camping, tailgating, fishing, 4WD: anywhere you can park a battery, you can cook.
Does the Trek come with the Trek Cart?
No, the Trek Cart is a separate accessory sold separately. If you plan to take the Trek out of the backyard regularly, the Cart is the single most useful upgrade to add: locking caster wheels, collapsible shelves, and a stable wheeled base for moving the grill around.
Is a cover included?
No. The Trek Prime 2.0 ships without a cover. The genuine Green Mountain Grills Trek Prime 2.0 Custom Cover is sold separately and is cut to fit both the Trek 2.0 and older Trek models. We recommend adding it to your order so you have proper protection from day one.
How many meat probes does it come with?
One probe is included with the Trek. (The larger Ledge Prime 2.0 ships with two probes.) The probe feeds live food temperature readings to the GMG Prime 2.0 app and supports probe alarms.
How does the WiFi app work?
The Trek Prime 2.0 connects to the GMG Prime 2.0 app over WiFi on your home network, and over Server Mode when you are away. From the app you set the grill temperature, watch live grill and meat probe readings, run programmable cooking profiles, and set probe alarms.
Do you deliver and set up in Sydney?
Yes. For Sydney metro customers, we deliver the Trek to your property, run the first burn-in, pair the GMG Prime 2.0 app, and walk you through your first cook. For interstate or regional buyers, we arrange freight on request.
Is the Trek Prime 2.0 on display at your showroom?
Yes. The Trek Prime 2.0 is on display at our Wetherill Park showroom, 5 Vicars Place. Open Monday and Wednesday to Friday 10am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 2pm. Call ahead if you want it fired up so you can see it cook.
