The XL Egg Acacia Table Bundle pairs the XL Big Green Egg with a solid acacia hardwood table built specifically for the XL EGG's dimensions. The table provides prep space on both sides of the EGG, a lower storage shelf, and full mobility on four casters. The Table Nest, which is required for any EGG-in-table installation, is included and correctly positions the XL EGG within the table opening with the airflow it needs.
The XL EGG has 2,919 cm² of cooking surface, specified for 6 to 12 people, with the capacity to cook 20 burgers, 4 whole chickens, or 6 Boston butts (approximately 3.6 kg each) at a time. The Acacia Table gives that cooking surface a permanent home: a self-contained outdoor kitchen station that is ready to use from the moment it is assembled, freestanding, and mobile when needed.
The Acacia Table is made from all-natural, kiln-dried solid planks of genuine acacia hardwood, chosen by Big Green Egg for its weathering characteristics. This is solid timber construction, not veneer or composite. It is designed to live outdoors.

Caster Kit (4 casters)
Four 2-inch casters (2 locking, 2 non-locking) fitted to the table legs. Lock during cooking, unlock to reposition the entire setup.

Ceramic heat deflector for indirect cooking. Makes smoking, roasting, and baking possible alongside direct grilling from day one.

The prep space built into the Acacia Table on both sides of the EGG is a practical difference during any cook. Resting meat, staging ingredients, and plating all happen at the same height as the cooking surface. The lower shelf provides accessible storage for charcoal, accessories, and tools within the footprint of the station itself.

If a fixed, beautifully constructed timber table that houses the EGG permanently is what you are after, the Acacia Table Bundle is the appropriate configuration. The Large Acacia Table Bundle (1,688 cm² / specified for 4 to 6 people) pairs the most sold EGG in Australia with its own size-specific acacia table. The Large is sufficient for the majority of household entertaining and the table is proportionally sized to match.
The XL Acacia Table Bundle (2,919 cm² / specified for 6 to 12 people) provides nearly double the cooking surface within a larger table structure. The XL table's wider dimensions (84.45 cm depth versus the Large's 66 cm) provide proportionally more prep space on each side of the EGG. If your cooking groups regularly sit at the upper range or above the Large's specification, the XL is the meaningful step up.

Table Nest requirementThe Table Nest: Why It Is Not Optional
Important: Never install the XL EGG directly into the table opening without the Table Nest. Doing so creates heat damage risk to the surrounding table structure and voids the warranty. The Table Nest is included in this bundle.
The Table Nest sits between the XL EGG and the table opening, providing essential airflow under the EGG and distributing its 99 kg weight correctly across the table structure. It also allows the EGG to be lifted out of the table for cleaning, servicing, or relocation. At 99 kg, this requires at least two people.

Warranty Coverage
The warranty coverage for the XL Egg Acacia Table Bundle follows the standard Big Green Egg warranty structure. The warranty is valid only for EGGs purchased from an Authorised Dealer and requires warranty registration by the original purchaser. All warranty claims for EGGs purchased through BBQ Republic are handled directly through us.

Keeping It in Good Condition
- Remove ash from the firebox after each cook using the included ash tool
- Brush the cooking grid clean after use
- Never use lighter fluid or flammable accelerants inside the EGG. This voids the warranty and can damage the ceramic.
- Keep the dome closed when not in use to protect the gasket
- Use the SpeediClean Ceramic Cleaner if cleaning the exterior ceramic. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools.
- Treat the Acacia Table periodically with an appropriate outdoor wood oil to protect the timber against weathering and maintain its appearance
- Check the casters periodically to ensure locking mechanisms are engaging correctly before each cook

What is included in a Big Green Egg bundle?
Every BGE bundle includes the Egg itself plus a stand or nest system. Depending on the bundle, this may be an Acacia hardwood table, a modular nest, an intEGGrated nest and handler, or a built-in configuration. Most bundles also include a convEGGtor, charcoal, and SpeediLight starters. Each bundle page lists exactly what is included.
Do Big Green Egg bundles come with a warranty?
Yes. The ceramic components carry a lifetime warranty for residential use when purchased through an authorised dealer. Metal components carry a 5-year structural warranty, the convEGGtor 3 years, and the temperature gauge and gasket 1 year. The warranty requires registration and is only valid through authorised dealers like BBQ Republic.
Do you deliver and install Big Green Egg bundles in Sydney?
Yes. BBQ Republic offers free delivery and installation across Sydney on all Big Green Egg bundles. We deliver, assemble, and leave you ready to cook. No flat-pack assembly, no extra cost. Sales and delivery are available within New South Wales.
Which Big Green Egg size should I buy?
The Large is the most popular choice and the size we recommend most after seven years cooking on BGE. It feeds 4 to 6 people and handles everything from weeknight steaks to 16-hour briskets. The XL suits larger groups. The Medium suits couples or smaller spaces. The MiniMax is the most portable. If you are unsure, visit our Wetherill Park showroom and we will walk you through the options in person.
Can I see Big Green Egg bundles in person before buying?
Yes. BBQ Republic has a showroom in Wetherill Park, Sydney where multiple BGE bundle configurations are on display. You can compare sizes and setups side by side before committing. Open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm.
What can I cook on a Big Green Egg?
Everything. The Big Green Egg operates from 75 degrees to over 370 degrees, making it suitable for direct grilling at high heat, low and slow smoking, indirect roasting, baking, and pizza. With the convEGGtor included in most bundles, you can use every cooking method from day one.
Do I need to register my Big Green Egg for the warranty?
Yes. Registration is required for the warranty to be valid. The warranty covers the original registered purchaser and requires purchase from an authorised dealer. All warranty claims for EGGs purchased through BBQ Republic are handled directly through us.
