Argie Grillz Charcoal Grills.
Two Authentic Live-Fire Traditions.
Argie Grillz makes two distinct types of charcoal grill, both built around live-fire cooking and 304-grade stainless steel construction. The Gaucho Series is the classic Argentine parrilla, an adjustable open-top grate over hot coals. The Barbee-Q line is a Cyprus-style motorized rotisserie system with skewers and turning spits. Different traditions, both genuinely good at what they do.
Two Charcoal Cooking Formats. Four Products.
Argie Grillz makes charcoal grills in two distinct traditions: the Argentine parrilla format with adjustable grates, and Cyprus-style motorized rotisserie systems. Here is the full range available at our Sydney showroom.
Open-top charcoal grill with adjustable-height grate and V-channel grill bars. The traditional asado format where the cook controls heat by raising or lowering the grate above the coals.
Gaucho Series (Classic Model) Portable Parrilla
Gaucho Series Meat Stake Attachment (With Stand)
Motorized rotisserie systems with skewers and turning spits over charcoal. The Cypriot tradition where the meat rotates continuously above the coal bed for even cooking across multiple portions at once.

Questions About the Parrilla and Rotisserie Range
What buyers ask before choosing between the Argentine parrilla format and the Cyprus-style rotisserie systems.
Should I choose a parrilla or a Cyprus-style rotisserie?
The two formats suit different cooking styles. The parrilla is for hands-on cooks who enjoy the asado tradition: managing the fire, raising and lowering the grate to control heat, and treating the cook itself as a social event. The Gaucho Series Portable Parrilla is the entry point.
The Cyprus-style rotisserie is for cooks who want to feed bigger groups or run multiple cuts at once, with the meat turning continuously over the coals while they attend to other things. The MR03 ($700) offers three cooking modes (rotisserie, skewers, flat grills) in one unit. The MC01 ($1,100) is a dedicated 11-skewer rotisserie for high-volume skewer cooks (souvlaki, kebabs, kofta).
If you mostly cook steak and whole cuts, go parrilla. If you regularly cook for 8 or more people and want versatility, go rotisserie.
Do these cookers need assembly when they arrive?
Yes, all Argie Grillz cookers arrive flat-packed and require home assembly. The Gaucho Series Portable Parrilla is the simplest to assemble, with the grate, height-adjust mechanism, and legs going together in around 30 to 45 minutes using basic hand tools.
The Barbee-Q MR03 and MC01 rotisserie systems are more involved because of the motors, spits, skewers, and electrical components. Allow 60 to 90 minutes for either rotisserie unit and follow the supplied instructions for the motor wiring. We deliver these to Sydney metro and you can call us on 0434 010 411 if you hit a snag during your assembly.
What charcoal should I use with the parrilla and rotisserie?
Natural lump hardwood charcoal is the right choice for both formats. The Argie Grillz Argentine Lump Charcoal is our most popular pairing, made from 100% Quebracho Blanco hardwood from northern Argentina with a 4 to 6 hour burn duration and very low ash production.
The dense lump burns long enough to manage a parrilla cook through changing heat zones, and produces clean coal beds for the rotisserie systems that need consistent radiant heat under the turning spits. Avoid briquettes with binders, lighter fluid, and self-igniting charcoal, all three will affect the flavour on these direct-fire cookers.
How many people can each cooker realistically feed?
Practical guidance from running cooks on these units:
Gaucho Series Portable Parrilla: comfortably cooks for 4 to 8 people. Excellent for a family meal or small group asado where you want to cook several cuts in sequence on a manageable grate.
Barbee-Q MR03: feeds 10 to 15 people across rotisserie, skewers, and flat grills running simultaneously. Strong all-rounder for backyard parties and bigger gatherings.
Multi Chain MC01: 11 skewers x roughly 2 to 2.5 kg of meat per skewer means this unit can comfortably feed 20 plus people in a single cook. The skewer-only format suits skewer-heavy cuisines (Greek, Turkish, Lebanese) or commercial cooking volumes.
What warranty comes with Argie Grillz cookers?
BBQ Republic is an authorised Argie Grillz dealer, so every cooker comes with full Australian manufacturer warranty. The 304-grade stainless steel construction across the range is the warranty-relevant build quality, the parrilla grates, motor housings, and skewers are all rated for outdoor weather and high-heat exposure.
The motorised rotisserie units (MR03 and MC01) include warranty on the motor systems as well. If you ever have a warranty claim, deal directly with us at BBQ Republic on 0434 010 411 rather than going through the manufacturer, we handle it for you as part of being a dealer.
Do you deliver Argie Grillz cookers across Sydney and Australia?
