BBQ Republic is an authorised Traeger dealer based in Wetherill Park, Sydney. We stock all four current Traeger models, the Pro 575, Pro 780, Woodridge Pro and Ironwood XL, on permanent display, and every grill we sell comes with free delivery and installation across Sydney metro. We've been cooking on charcoal and pellet smokers since 2014, and we became an authorised Traeger dealer around the time Barbeques Galore started closing its doors, which is probably part of why you've landed on this page.
This page covers what's actually on the showroom floor, why buying through an authorised dealer matters at this price point, and how delivery and setup works if you buy from us.

Authorised Traeger Dealer in Sydney
Being an authorised dealer isn't just a badge on a website. It means every Traeger we sell is backed by the full manufacturer warranty, and if something goes wrong, we handle the claim directly instead of pointing you to an overseas seller or a marketplace listing with no local support. All four models carry a 3 year warranty from Traeger, and as the dealer of record we're the ones who sort it out if a part needs replacing.
That matters more than most buyers realise until they need it. Grey market and parallel imported grills sold through some online marketplaces can carry voided or unsupported warranties in Australia, and the plug, voltage and app region can be wrong too. Buying local and authorised removes all of that risk in one step.
It also means the person selling you the grill has actually cooked on one. When you ask how the Woodridge Pro's Super Smoke Mode compares to running the Ironwood XL at the same temperature, you're getting an answer from someone who has done both, not a call centre reading a script off a screen.
What's on Display at Wetherill Park
We keep the Pro 575, Pro 780, Woodridge Pro and Ironwood XL set up and running on the showroom floor, not boxed in a warehouse. You can open the lid, look at the hopper and auger, check the build quality of the grates, and see the difference between the Woodridge Pro's full colour display and the Ironwood XL's touchscreen before you commit to either.
Wetherill Park is also the only showroom in NSW where you can compare the Traeger range against Yoder Smokers side by side. If you're weighing up a pellet smoker at this price point for the first time and aren't sure whether you want Traeger's app driven convenience or Yoder's heavier steel build, seeing both in the same room in twenty minutes tells you more than a week of reading reviews.
We also keep the full Traeger pellet range and accessories on the shelves, not just the grills. If you need hardwood pellets, a cover, or a ModiFIRE cooking surface for the Woodridge Pro or Ironwood XL, it's the same trip rather than a separate order and a wait for shipping.
Traeger Models We Stock
All four models share the same core technology: WiFIRE WiFi and Alexa app control, the D2 controller with a brushless drivetrain and Turbo Temp, six cooking modes (Smoke, Grill, Bake, Roast, Braise and BBQ), and a 3 year warranty. What separates them is cooking space and how much of the feature and precision upgrade you want to pay for.
Traeger Pro 575: $1,599.95

575 sq in of cooking space. The entry point into the range and the right starting size for a household of two to four doing regular weekend cooks. Carries every core Traeger technology at the lowest price in our range.
Shop Pro 575Traeger Pro 780: $1,999
780 sq in of cooking space, about 35% more than the Pro 575, with the same feature set. The right size if you regularly cook for groups of eight or more.
Shop Pro 780Traeger Woodridge Pro: $2,399
970 sq in of cooking space, the largest we stock, plus Super Smoke Mode, the EZ-Clean Grease and Ash Keg, the P.A.L. accessory rail and ModiFIRE compatible cooking surfaces. The most complete feature set below Traeger's Timberline flagship, which we don't currently carry.
Shop Woodridge ProTraeger Ironwood XL: $3,999.95

924 sq in of cooking space (slightly less than the Woodridge Pro despite costing more), with dual-wall insulated construction, Smart Combustion, a touchscreen, two wired probes and a 22lb hopper. Built for the tightest temperature control we sell, especially on long overnight cooks.
Shop Ironwood XLIf you want the full breakdown of how these four compare, including why the most expensive model actually has less cooking space than the one below it, we've written a separate buyer's guide linked at the bottom of this page. In the showroom, we'll walk you through the same logic in person and point you at the model that matches how you actually cook, not just the top of the range.
Why Come In Before Buying
A pellet grill at this price point is worth seeing in person, and three things are genuinely easier to judge on the showroom floor than from a product page.
The first is the controller and display. Photos don't tell you much about how the Woodridge Pro's full colour screen or the Ironwood XL's touchscreen actually feel to use mid-cook. Stand in front of one and set a temperature yourself.
The second is Super Smoke Mode. It's available on the Woodridge Pro and Ironwood XL, and if we've got one running low and slow when you visit, you can see the extra smoke output for yourself rather than taking a spec sheet's word for it.
The third is the size and weight difference between models, and the Traeger versus Yoder decision if you're genuinely undecided between the two brands. Both are easier to judge standing between them than scrolling between two browser tabs.
We're not going to pretend every visit ends in a sale on the spot, and that's fine. Plenty of people come in, ask their questions, go home and think about it, then call a week later to arrange delivery. There's no pressure either way. The goal is that you buy the right grill for how you actually cook, not the one you regret in six months.
Delivery and Installation Across Sydney
Every Traeger purchased from BBQ Republic includes free delivery and full installation across the Sydney metro area. We assemble the grill on site, connect it to your home WiFi via WiFIRE, confirm the Traeger app is working on your phone, and walk you through your first cook before we leave. There's no flat pack assembly and no configuration left for you to work out on your own. Your Traeger is ready to cook on the day it arrives.
If you were a Barbeques Galore customer and are looking for a new place to buy your Traeger, pellets or accessories in Sydney, we've put together a guide specifically for that situation, including a welcome offer if you're holding a Galore gift card.
