How to Use
- Clear old ash with the Big Green Egg Ash Tool and open the draft door, rEGGulator and dome fully.
- Fill with lump charcoal, leaving about 5 cm of clearance below the rim of the fire ring.
- Make a small mound in the centre and nestle a SpeediLight Stick among the pieces.
- Light the stick with a match or lighter.
- Leave the dome open for 10 to 15 minutes until the charcoal is glowing.
- Close the dome and bring the vents down in small steps to your target temperature.

Warranty & Guarantee
1. Is there a warranty on Big Green Egg charcoal and starters?
Charcoal and SpeediLight starters are consumables, so no warranty term applies to them. If a bag or box arrives damaged, call us on 0434 010 411 and we will sort it out. Warranty terms for the Egg itself and its hardware accessories are listed on each product page.
2. How do I make a warranty claim?
If you bought it from BBQ Republic, we handle the claim for you. If you bought it from another dealer, contact that dealer. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty assessments.
3. What is not covered under warranty?
Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, misuse, and damage caused by improper installation or maintenance are generally not covered under warranty.
