Every part on this page is genuine OEM, sourced direct from the manufacturer. Big Green Egg parts come through our Platinum Dealer relationship with BGE, and Yoder Smokers parts come direct from Yoder in the USA.

We do not stock or sell aftermarket copies. Aftermarket parts often have wrong tolerances, lower-grade steel, or gaskets that fail under sustained heat. For a kamado or pellet smoker that you will own for decades, genuine parts are the only path that protects the cooker.

BGE parts are sized for specific Egg models. convEGGtors, gaskets, grids and nests are model-specific across MiniMax, Small, Medium, Large, XL and XXL. The product page lists the compatible sizes, and the part is named by the size it fits.

If you are unsure of your Egg size, the diameter of the cooking grid tells you: MiniMax 33cm, Small 33cm, Medium 38cm, Large 46cm, XL 61cm, XXL 73cm. Send us the measurement or your Egg size and we will confirm fitment before you order.

The signs that say it is time: visible scorching or fraying, smoke escaping from the dome-base join during cooks, or trouble holding low and slow temperatures. For a kamado used weekly, expect 2 to 4 years between gasket replacements depending on how hot you cook.

The BGE High Performance Gasket Kit is the official replacement: high-temperature felt designed to seal the dome to the base. Comes with adhesive and full instructions. Plan a couple of hours for the swap including dry time.

The convEGGtor (formerly known as the plate setter) is the ceramic heat-deflector that converts a Big Green Egg from direct grilling to indirect cooking. Essential for low-and-slow briskets, pulled pork, roasts, baked goods and pizza.

Ceramic does crack eventually, especially with rapid temperature changes (cold convEGGtor in a hot Egg, water hitting hot ceramic). Once it cracks through, replace it. A cracked convEGGtor leaks heat unevenly and ruins indirect cook stability. The genuine BGE convEGGtor is the same ceramic spec as the one that came with your Egg.

A nest is the steel frame that lifts the Egg off the ground and gives it mobility. Three options for different uses:

Table Nest sits inside a custom or built-in BBQ table cut-out. The Egg drops into the cut-out and the nest supports it from below. Fixed installation.

intEGGrated Nest & Handler is the rolling nest with side handles and wheels for moving the Egg around. The handler lets two people lift the Egg in and out for travel or relocation.

Modular Nest System (with Caster Kit and Connector Pack) lets you build a modular outdoor kitchen by adding side tables and accessories around the nest. Configurable.

Yes, the parts on this page are designed for owner installation. The YS640S Full Depth Top Shelf and YS640 / YS640s Stainless Steel Grease Shield both fit with standard hand tools, usually in 15 minutes or less.

Big Green Egg replacement parts are covered under BGE's manufacturer warranty terms, with coverage varying by component. The ceramic dome and base have a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner; metalwork, hardware and consumables (gaskets, felt) have shorter terms.

Yoder Smokers warranty their core stainless steel build for 10 years on the cook chamber and 3 years on electronics. Replacement metalwork carries the same warranty as factory parts.

Open Monday and Wednesday to Friday 10am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 2pm. Closed Tuesday and Sunday. Most BGE and Yoder parts are kept on hand so a working cooker is rarely more than a phone call away.
