Misty Gully Kosher Salt comes in a 1kg pack and is made in Australia. The coarse grain is easy to pinch and spread evenly, which makes it a go-to for dry brining and seasoning brisket, steak and poultry before the cook.

Misty Gully Cure #1 contains 6.25% sodium nitrite and is for bacon, ham, corned beef and other cured meats that are cooked or hot smoked, at 2g per kg of meat for a dry cure. Misty Gully Cure #2 contains sodium nitrite and sodium nitrate and is only for long, air dried cures such as salami, at 3g per kg of meat mixture. Both are dyed pink for safety and must never be used as cooking salt.
