Do I need to season the stainless grill tray?
Yes. Traeger recommends seasoning the Fish & Veggie Stainless Steel Grill Tray before use (and again when the seasoning wears) to improve nonstick performance and help prevent discoloration. Wash, heat on the grill to 204°C (400°F), wipe a thin coat of high-smoke-point oil across the inner surfaces, heat until the oil lightly smokes, cool, then wipe off excess.
