This is not a supermarket rib sauce. It is a premium glaze tested in the heat of competition and proven on the circuit, built on the classic sweet-smoky-spicy balance that defines a proper set of competition ribs. Natural, robust flavours, a big 500ml bottle that covers 8 to 10 racks, and a sticky finish that sets into a shine. The result you want when the ribs need to impress.
What a rib glaze does. A glaze is what you brush on toward the end of the cook. Where a rub builds the bark and the base layer of flavour, the glaze goes on late and caramelises into a glossy, sticky, lacquered finish on the outside of the ribs. This one can also be used earlier as a sticky marinade, so it works two ways from the one bottle.

The Full Method
Rub, then glaze. Season the ribs with The Four Saucemen Pork Rub and cook them through so the bark sets. In the final stage, brush on the Rib Glaze and let it caramelise. The rub builds the flavour base and the bark, the glaze adds the sweet, smoky, sticky finish. If you want the same glaze with a spiced rum twist, the Four Saucemen also make a Spiced Rum Rib Glaze version.
